近和法師 (Venerable Jin He)

Venerable JinHe was ordained in the Mahāyāna Buddhist tradition at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, California, in 2011. He resided and practiced at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas and the Berkeley Buddhist Monastery before returning to Malaysia in 2021.

Well-versed in both the Theravāda and Mahāyāna Buddhist canons, Venerable JinHe currently lectures on the Medicine Master Buddha Sūtra, Heart Sūtra, and Platform Sūtra of the Sixth Patriarch, and leads a study on Understanding Pure Land through the Noble Eightfold Path.

He serves as an instructor for the Diploma of Buddhism program (Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka), and is the resident Dharma teacher for Sam Poh Thong Temple (Malaysia) and Avalokiteśvara Yuan Tong Monastery (Australia).

Venerable JinHe holds a Bachelor of Business in Economics and Finance from RMIT University, and a Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.

近和法師於 2011 年在美國加州萬佛聖城出家。曾先後於萬佛聖城及加州Berkeley Buddhist Monastery常住修持，並於 2021 年返回馬來西亞。法師博通南、北傳佛教經藏，現任馬來西亞Sam Poh Thong Temple及澳洲Avalokiteśvara Yuan Tong Monastery的常駐法師。在學術方面，法師持有澳洲皇家墨爾本理工大學 (RMIT) 經濟與金融學士學位，以及斯里蘭卡凱University of Kelaniya佛學碩士學位。
