Avatasamka Vihara summer Buddhism class for children over the age of 4. The class will focus on Buddhist stories to keep it fun and interesting for the children. Through these stories, we hope to teach the children the basic knowledge and rituals of Buddhism.

(10 minutes of meditation before meal offering)
Buddhist stories, Dhammapada (a collection of sayings of the Buddha), Confucius stories.
Goal: To instill students with the following virtues: compassion, respect, loyalty, honesty, honor, grace, etc.
We welcome children who are over the age of 4 and who are conversational in Mandarin Chinese. Children who are under the age of 6 or whom need special accommodation should be
accompanied by parents in the classroom.
Attendance: All students must adhere to classroom rules. If you can’t make it to class, please notify the principal know in advance.
